the world has become such a stressful, frightening place nowadays...
road rage...
car park rage...
store "sales" rage for God's sake, where is it all going to end! When, why and how did we abandon commonsense, courtesy, decency, loyalty and respect for one another? Does no one care for anyone anymore? Please...

Stop, and think of our children and grandchildren and let's bring back some family values before it's entirely too late.
We have accepted the lowest standards for almost everything.
Dress codes have gone out the window, dressing down, and not up, is cool, it's just us oldies hanging on to the old, lovely custom of dressing for the occasion.
Manners too have taken on a new meaning, "please"and "thank you" are quite enough effort thank you very much.
In a crowded bus or train young people simply have no idea that it might be polite and a nice thing, to offer their seat to an elderly person or a pregnant woman.
As for holding a door open for the person following, nobody bothers to look.
Low, has become the norm, and it seems it's good enough.
If we continue to accept this as okay, I shudder to think of how the next generation will behave as they will not know any other way, and it's not going to be their fault.
Everyone is rushing to get there first, push, shove as we saw happen on TV when a store opened it's doors for a boxing day sale, no matter that someone got hurt! We love our children and grandchildren, and while on the one hand they are encouraged to emulate adults, and assert their rights, it seems that very few are being taught anything about responsibility.
On the television they are subjected to adult films and news of every kind, gone is the consideration of timing, with no regard for children or how any of this affects them.
We do know though, that many are suffering anxiety these days.
We are robbing them of a true and stress free childhood, and THAT is THEIR right.
That's why I ask, please let's get back to giving children an innocent carefree time in their lives, it's such a fleeting magic thing.
Let's get rid of this awful worldwide rage, starting with just being nice to each other.
We can do it and we owe it to the next generation!
