    The Fund for Theological Education

    • The Fund for Theological Education offers grants for pastoral internships. They are offered to congregations to fund projects for college-age applicants seeking to explore and learn more about Christian principles and to enter the pastoral ministry. To qualify, the congregation must present a project at least 18 months long and the project must have at least two interns. Three to five grants up to $12,500 are offered each year.

    The Henry Luce Foundation

    • The Henry Luce Foundation offers a variety of grants for all states and religions. The grants range from educational grants for pastoral training to grants for professors, churches, colleges and other associations. The grants also range from one-time grants to four-year grants, some of which total over $600,000.

    The Confessional Lutheran Education Foundation

    • The Confessional Lutheran Education Foundation offers grants for pastoral training all over the world, including select places in North America, South America, Central America, Europe, Africa, Asia, the Pacific and more. In addition to offering grants for pastoral training, they also assist with education materials like books and lodging expenses.

    The HealthCare Chaplaincy

    • The HealthCare Chaplaincy offers grants to community health care organizations that help provide pastoral training. The grants are designed to aid organizations that otherwise could not afford to provide the spiritual training that those entering the ministry might need. They have awarded grants to organizations such as the National Association of Jewish Chaplains and the Clinical Pastoral Education to Ultra-Orthodox and Chassidic Rabbis.
