Article Marketing Questions: Is Article Marketing the BEST Way to Build a List for Newbies?

Is article marketing a good way for newbies to build a list? Is it superior to building a blog, or trying social networking? And what about PPC? How does creating content measure up to list marketing using paid traffic? What if I told you that in my own business, and after MILLIONS of readers in more niches than I can count, article marketing remains the BEST way to create a KILLER community of friends, fans and subscribers, without paying a penny? Would you believe me? The truth is, people who read your articles are FAR more committed, interested and "qualified" once they have consumed your content, than just about any other marketing method I've tried.
Why? Because they've already absorbed 300-500 words of your well considered thoughts, and when they choose to learn more after reading, they aren't making a "tire kicker" sort of click that emanates from a postage stamp ppc ad, or a 140 character "tweet", or similar stuff.
As a matter of fact, I do believe that my opt in percentage from those who have read my articles and arrive on my landing pages is about 50% HIGHER than other strategies.
(As of this writing well north of 30% versus about 18% on other traffic sources) The bottom line is, if you can TYPE, you can build a list.
That's EXACTLY what you need to know, as a newbie to the bodacious benefits of building a list.
As a matter of fact, in my view, article marketing is actually the IDEAL way for people who are just getting started to get a real time experiential "feel" for how the WHOLE online marketing model works overall.
And the best part is...
You don't need a budget.
You don't need a guru.
And you certainly don't need much experience...
OTHER than a genuine willingness to create copious amounts of content that WILL convert like crazy once you do...
