Organic Snoring Cure
- The way that you sleep can affect how much and why you snore. Studies suggest that those who sleep on their backs and stomachs tend to snore more. Sleeping on your side with your head slightly elevated can reduce your snoring. Use a wool blanket made with organically harvested wool from free-range sheep to serve as a wedge to keep your head and neck properly elevated.
- Honey is one of nature's cure-alls. If you take 1 tbsp. of honey before bed each night, it can help reduce your snoring. The honey will keep your air passages lubricated, allowing you to sleep better without snoring. Use honey that is labeled as having been harvested from organically managed bee hives--these bees tend to free-range for flower nectar instead of relying on sugar water.
- Saline spray is another effective way of lubricating the nasal passages. Use fresh artisian well water and naturally harvested sea salt. Dissolve the salts in the water and gently mist it into each nostril; the solution should keep the sinuses moist for several hours, reducing the risk of snoring.
- Try doing several of these things to ensure that not only you but also your partner will get a restful night's sleep. If your snoring is severe, you may want to consult your medical professional for a sleep study to make sure there is not an underlying medical reason for the snoring.
