How to Build an Aeroponics Spray System
- 1). Drill 29 1/64-inch holes into the tubing. All of the holes should be in one line across the tube. Space the holes one inch apart.
- 2). Wrap the tubing inside the bucket so it is coiled along the inside wall. All of the holes must be facing the center of the bucket. Set your pump inside the middle of the bucket and connect the bottom end of the tube to the pump. Screw your eye hook to the inside of the bucket one inch below the rim. Tie the other end of the tube to the hook using your zip tie. Insert this end of the tube in the end cap.
- 3). Draw a three-inch circle using your compass on the center of the bucket lid. Cut out the circle with your utility knife. Cut a 1/8x1/2-inch-deep groove from the edge of lid.
- 4). Hold the power cord as you set the lid on your bucket. The wire should be guided through the 1/8-inch-wide groove. Pour the nutrient solution in the bucket, set your pot in the 3-inch hole and pour the pebbles in the pot.
- 5). Turn on the pump to start cycling the solution, and set the starter plug of your seedling in the center of the pot so the top of the plug is flush with the top layer of pebbles.
