Does your success in a network marketing business depends on your upline?
HELL NO! It has nothing to do with him or her, ultimately, you decide which path to move. Your upline is just there to guide you, very much like a mentor. Well, there'a a certain extend that your upline can support you but like I mentioned, you are the one who decides where you want to go.
Few weeks back, out of concern I called up one of my downline and asked how's his progress.
The first question I asked was... "Where have you been lately, I haven't seen you during training for a couple of weeks!"
He replied... "I was expecting you to call me earlier, and we could meet up one on one"
I was stunt by his reply. All this while he have been waiting for me to build his business? I told him to come down to training if he wants to meet me.
Yes! I know I may sound harsh but if all of my downlines wants you to meet up with me. Do you think I will still have the time to build my business? NO! The same thing for a network marketers, whether online or offline. Your main priority is still building your business. That's the best support in my opinion that you can serve your team.
I must admit that this style or culture was developed by ME. I have a group of downlines that love meeting up and chilling out, we talked about our dreams and goals, what type of houses we want to live in the next, what type of car we want to drive. Meetings after meetings, they talk about what they want to achieve but NOTHING have been done. So it was me who developed this type of culture. I stopped that once I finally knew I was developing the wrong culture.
