Is Bush Evil Or Just A Miserable Failure As A Leader?

Here are two facts.
1) There was virtually no connection between 9/11 and Iraq according to the bipartisan congressional report that was released a few days ago.
2) A large percentage of the American public - something like 30 - 40% thinks that Iraq was behind the 9/11 attacks.
Any President with a conscience would want the American public to be crystal clear on who attacked us - right? Think about that for a second - can having up to 40% of the American public confused about who our enemies are - how could that possibly be a good thing for America? It isn't.
Republicans will disagree with my previous post about Bush and Cheney deliberately trying to mislead the public.
Let's assume for a second - as ridiculous as that notion is - that they are correct.
If that was the reality, then this is also part of that reality - in 5 years of 'leadership' Bush has been unable to communicate who attacked us to something like one out of three Americans.
That is beyond pathetic.
Any President who, after five years of 'trying' is unable to communicate a basic fact like who attacked us has no business being President.
A good President would not want 40% of the American public confused about anything factual.
A good President would take consistent steps to combat that ignorance.
However, instead of combating that ignorance, Bush and Cheney have gleefully embraced it and constantly nourished it.
So, here's a question for Republicans - is Bush an honest and sincere President who just happens to have no leadership or communications skills or an evil human being who deliberately tries to confuse the American public about war? The answer is obvious.
Republicans have a long history of not only being supportive of deception and misinformation about the wars that the United States has been engaged in - they have enthusiastically supported blatant lies about those wars.
Think Nixon.
How sad is it that 'God's political party' would celebrate the use of deliberate miseducation, mis-information and outright lies about one of mankind's greatest tragedies? Not once but consistently! This is just one reason why Republicans are morally defective.
