Collectors collect everything... even dinosaurs. Okay, it's not the actual dinosaur, but it there are somany dinosaur-themed items, that it's like collecting the real thing. My favorite are the dinosaur ornaments, especially the ones that are free blown glass, which allows for the wonderfully whimsical designs and shapes.
Dinosaurs are cool -- especially for kids and dinosaurs are fascinating for those of us who are the older generation. The history, what did they really look like, are the size of the amazing land animals are things that will always have us wondering and questioning, this is a good thing.
Adults might like to collect fossils or even bones for the for serious collector. But the kids will be happy with dinosaur toys and maybe fossils.

Heritage Auction Galleries offered several Dinosaurs for auction several years ago. As I said, these were for serious collectors as the price tags would should.
But it's still fun looking at and imagining the space and money to buy one of these, it would make an amazing conversation piece!

Most people have heard about the stores on Fifth Avenue in New York City. I think that must be where window shopping began, stores try to out-do each other with scenes and merchandise. I was actually working on this list the week I was also in New York City, wandering around Fifth Avenue, imagine my surprise to come across this window display in the Louis Vuitton windows. Each window was devoted to a single fairly large golden skeleton. Along with the skeleton was usually just one or two pieces from Louis Vuitton. Dramatic windows for sure!
