- 1). Go to https://remit.onlinesbi.com/ and click on "New User? Click here to Register."
- 2). Provide your name, residential address, date of birth and bank details including the name of the bank, bank account number, branch, account type and ABA routing number of the bank. The ABA routing number is usually found on the bottom of your bank's check.
- 3). Click on "Register" after filling in the necessary information. Your account will then be created with SBI.
- 4). Click on "Request SBI Express Remit" for transferring the money.
- 5). Enter the amount that you want to transfer. Provide the recipient's bank account number, bank routing number, bank name and the branch to which you are remitting the money. You will then be issued a transaction reference number for this transfer.
- 6). Wait for the money to reach the recipient's account. It takes almost three business days after initiating the transaction.
- 7). Check the status of your transfer on the SBI website. On the page, you will see "Transaction Status." Enter your transaction reference number in the field and see the status of your transferred money.
