Acne is more commonly found on the face, neck and chest however, it can be found in the genital area as well.

For instance, clothing that rubs against the area and irritates the skin may cause a flare up.

If a lesion is painful and large it may be necessary to see a doctor to make sure it is not a sexually transmitted disease symptom.

Do not over cleanse the area it may increase the irritation.
Use a mild cleanser and cleanse the area gently.
Do not pop or pick the lesions which may result in spreading of acne.
