Firepit Instructions
- 1). Measure out an area for the fire pit using a tape measure to ensure that the circle is even.
- 2). Plunge a spade around the circumference of the circle to score the area. Make square scores throughout the fire pit area to loosen the grass and remove the sod from the area.
- 3). Dig down 4 to 6 inches to lower the fire area.
- 4). Surround the pit using stones of similar size to contain the fire. Pile dirt from the inside of the fire pit onto the inside edges of the stones to keep them in place.
- 5). Stack more stone on top of the previous layer to raise the fire pit barrier. Repeat to create a third level of stone to contain the fire.
