If you are not on the budget, you can choose to buy only those with good quality and of reputable brands.
However, whether or not you are on a budget, you need to determine the equipment your baby truly needs against those that are merely masquerading as needed.
2.
To know which items aside from the mentioned ones are directly needed by your child, you can ask relatives and friends who have had children already.
They have the experience and expertise to advise you on what to invest on and what will just be a waste of money since it will virtually go unused by your baby.
3.
When buying the equipments that your baby needs, be sure to go light, as much as possible.
No need to get very big dressers or cribs.
Also, do not purchase heavy ones that are very difficult to move or stash away once no longer needed.
Also, they will only occupy more space in your home.
4.
When having baby showers and during your child's christening, you will likely be showered with gifts that your baby will need.
You should then try to buy some of the needs after this happens as many of them will just be duplicated.
In case there are friends who will ask you what you prefer to have as gifts, do not exercise false modesty and tell him exactly what your baby needs.
For those who will not ask but you are close enough with to dictate the gift you wanted your child to receive, do so.
