This Bed"s Not Big Enough For The Both Of Us

My wife and I are compatible in a number of ways.
We both enjoy a well cooked roast dinner, British seaside holidays, and listening to old music in new cars.
In forty-odd years of marriage there in one are that we have never been compatible in - bed.
Not like that; not in a blue way, I mean sleeping.
We have never been able to sleep well together.
We both toss and turn like no-one's business, when I'm hot she's cold and vice-versa.
It takes its toll after a while.
We're into our sixties now and have both retired, and funnily enough we spend less time in bed now than when we were working! However recently, we have been talking about separate beds - same room mind, just so we can get some decent sleep.
Neither of us likes the idea because it is like admitting a failure and sleeping together (however bad) is a very important part of marriage.
But we were beginning to feel like there was no alternative.
We started going bed shopping last month, for separate beds - I tell you, I've never had as much fun shopping for anything in my life! Bouncing on these mattresses, trying water beds, air beds, foam beds, it was great.
My wife and I had a right giggle.
We were both very surprised at the technology now used in mattresses, particularly the Silentnight Mattresses.
I was astonished to learn that they were now using latex in some of their models! We were talking to a very, very helpful and understanding sales girl about Silentnight Mattresses and we told her about our problem.
She was very understanding and told us that there may yet be a way where we don't have to sleep in separate beds.
Se told us about a Silentnight Mattress called a Miracoil 7 Pocket Mattress.
These pockets that make it up all work independently, they transfer heat into cold and vise versa and they have a 'no roll together function'.
We thought that it would be worth one last try and we bought it there and then.
Two nights later it was our first sleep on it - it was marvelous, absolutely delightful.
Now the wife is phoning up our B&B that we have booked for next summer asking them what type of mattresses they have! She won't sleep in anything else! Conclusion Couples often find that they can sleep fine independently of each other but terribly together.
As with most problems these days, there is a solution.
Actually there are many solutions; all you have to do is find the right one for you.
