500 Days of Summer - If Only Break Ups Are This Romantic

To sum up 500 Days of Summer in a sentence, "it's like the Break Up crossed with Momento.
" It's a story about a boy meets a girl, falls completely in love with her, get frustrated about the relationship, does his best to move on.
It's quite an unconventional love story, chained with various short episodes of the titular characters' relationship, usually not in chronological order, and paints the emotional roller coaster of the man falling in, then out of love with a girl.
This movie lets you know up front that the relationship would end in break up, so in the next hour and a half, you can follow the footsteps of Tom as he falls in love with Summer, and self reflect how you used to go through the same emotional journey as Tom, in your not so distant past relationship.
Both main actors were excellent and believable in portraying their respective.
Tom is a nice down to earth guy who believes in true love, and he fell in love with Summer at first sight.
Summer is a free spirited, popular girl who doesn't believe in true love but still sees Tom as a best friend.
Everything was set up so nicely for fairytale story, but instead what you got was a down to earth, sweet, relatable and unforgettable story.
Overall, the movie does not conform into the typical romantic comedy, instead it takes all the memorable moments of a typical relationship and stitched them together to make a romantic experience.
