    • 1). Fill out your resume, creating sections for education, experience or employment, awards (if relevant) and volunteer work.

    • 2). Fill out the education section with your completed college degree information. At this stage in your career, you don't need to list your high school.

    • 3). List the college you are attending, followed by the program you are participating in. If you have completed any hours, list how many hours you have completed, but be sure to mention that you are still in the program. Here's an example: University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Lincoln, Neb., Master of Education, September 2010-present, 36 hours completed. Another option is to list the education information and your anticipated graduation date. That would read: University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Lincoln, Neb., Master of Education, anticipated spring 2012.

    • 4). Fill out the rest of your resume.

    • 5). Revise your resume and proofread it.

    • 6). Have someone else proofread your resume.

    • 7). Print your resume on good-quality resume paper and check for errors again before submitting it to the employer.
