"Femocrats" Now We"ve Seen it ALL!

Now we've seen it all! It doesn't matter which television network you're watching or what newspaper or periodical you've perused, the phenomenon is unbelievably daunting.
As much as we'd like to think that the women of the democratic party are above voting their gender, it has become increasingly difficult to tell a "dem" from a "femme".
The DNC was the national forum for the many women who, even after Hillary Clinton's rousing endorsement speech and many other Democratic officials who proudly gave their support to Barack Obama, would persist in vacillating over which candidate is best suited for their vote.
Now I'm no genius, but it seems to me that a Democrat should be a Democrat and when the primaries are over, the party should form a cohesive and indelible bond which cannot be broken for race, gender or otherwise.
This nouveau Democratic Party with it's loose links in a chain of underhanded, mendacious "win at all cost" attitudes is more divisive than ever! We've always known about the southern white democrats, male and female, who would have such a difficult time voting for an African American, that they would rather vote for the republican candidate irrespective of his/ her politics, but now we are faced with "Femocrats" from all over the country, who would consider a McCain/ Palin vote, simply out of spite for the Hillary Clinton loss in the primaries? Unbelievable! Have we lost our sense of direction in this country? Isn't democracy supposed to espouse the values of the people? It seems to me that we are creating a vote by popularity rather than the candidate's qualification and desire to move this country in the "right" direction, whatever you as a registered voter feel the "right " direction is.
Many of us watched in astonishment as an African American woman was interviewed at the DNC after the Hillary Clinton speech.
When asked whether she was ready to unite the party and consolidate the votes she said that Barack Obama had not "connected" with her.
She also said that she may be faced, for the first time since she was 18 years old, with not casting any vote at all! This attitude is clearly the result of a non- thinking person.
If you are impassioned by the views of the democratic party and you are of the opinion that the republicans who have been in power have been moving in the "wrong" direction, then it would appear to me that the democratic candidate would by default have a far better connection with you than that of the republican.
The notion of not voting at all wreaks of ignorance! There are only two real Candidates for President of the United States; hence, one or the other will win the job.
It's utterly amazing to see rational women behaving as if there will be a great pumpkinesque, easter bunnylike third candidate that will appear out of nowhere at the very last moment! If that happens, we will all be able to fly our pigs to the polls and the martians will handle the ballot tallies! In other words..

It isn't likely.
