There’s little that can be added to this statement from Ford about a massive recall announced on April 30, 2015. Almost 600,000 Ford and Lincoln products were included in the recall.

The bad news is for the owners of the 2014 Ford Fusion. According to CNNMoney.com, some 2014 Ford Fusions were recalled three times in a seven-day period. “All told, nearly 1 million car and truck recall notices were issued in the last few days, although as in the case of the Fusion there were some models that faced multiple recalls.

The Lincoln MKZ and Ford Fiesta have both been recalled twice in the last week,” the report said.

Here is the text of the official announcement. It has been re-ordered from the original press release with the recalls now in descending order.
