Pool Pump Pressure Valve Troubleshooting
- Pool pump pressure valves control the amount of water running through the pump. The pool pump brings water into the filtration system and returns it as clean water back to the pool.
- A common issue for a pressure valve is if the valve is closed or partly closed on the returning water line. Verify that the returning line is not blocked with debris which can affect the valve's operation.
- If the pressure valve is not functioning correctly, it can result in low water volume being expelled from the system. Check any filters for blockages as well. These can also work in conjunction with a pressure valve to cause failures in water volume and the level of cleanliness.
