Privacy Options

  • Unlike pages, which are public and typically available to everyone on Facebook, groups offer three different options fro privacy. This allows you to customize the type of group experience you wish to offer members. Select an "Open" privacy setting to allow anyone to see the group, its members and any content that is posted. Select a "Closed" privacy setting to allow anyone to see the group and its members, but limit visibility of group posts to members. For an ultra-private experience, select a "Secret" privacy setting, which allows members only to see the group, its members and any content posted.
