    Enable Remote Connections

    • 1). Click "Start," on the computer with the Satellite PC Box software installed. Right-click on "Computer" and select "Properties" from the pop-up list. The "System Properties" window opens.

    • 2). Click the "Remote" tab, and then click the checkbox next to "Allow connections from computers running any version of Remote Desktop" in the "Remote Desktop" section. Click the "Apply" button. Click the "Select Users" button and the "Remote Desktop Users" dialog window opens.

    • 3). Click the "Add" button and the "Select Users or Groups" dialog window opens. Type the names of the computers or users you want to add in the open text box. Click "OK" when you are finished. Click "OK" twice to close out the remaining open windows.

    Start Remote Desktop

    • 1). Click "Start" on the remote computer, and then type "Remote Desktop Connection" in the search box.

    • 2). Click "Remote Desktop Connection" from the results list. The "Remote Desktop Connection" window opens.

    • 3). Type the name of the computer with the Satellite PC Box software installed in the "Computer" box. An example of a full computer name is:

      "mycomputer.example.webdomain.com"

      In this example, "mycomputer" is the computer name, "example" is the domain name and "webdomain" is the higher-level domain name. Click the "Connect" button to access the computer.
