- 1). Insert a writeable or blank CD into the computer's disc drive. Click on the "Burn files to data disc" selection in the "Auto Play" window that opens once the blank CD is recognized by the drive.
- 2). Type in a name for the disc in the "Burn A Disc" window that appears. Click on the "Show Formatting Options" button to select the format for the disc. Choose "Mastered" and click "Next." The drive will then format the disc and open an empty disc folder associated with the CD.
Alternatively, you can burn a Live File System disc by clicking "Next" in the "Burn A Disc" window. However, the disc will not be compatible with other versions of Windows and other media devices. - 3). Locate the VOB file on the hard drive using the Windows Explorer and drag the file you want to burn into the disc folder. Once the file is finished copying into the folder, click on the "Burn To Disc" button in the toolbar to start the burn process. The disc will be ejected from the drive once the burn process is complete. If you are using the Live File System Format, the VOB file will be immediately burned to the disc as you drag it into the folder.
