- 1). Measure the length and width of the poster you wish to hang.
- 2). Purchase a floor mount poster/sign stand that can accommodate the same dimensions.
- 3). Determine a location on the floor to place the poster.
- 4). Mount the poster inside the frame. Depending on the design of the poster stand, this may involve sliding the poster into place or removing the mount's plastic front cover and laying the poster face up on the stand backing with the plastic replaced over the poster.
- 5). Slide or connect the frame to the poster stand base and place the entire stand in the desired positon.
- 6). Place a piece of furniture, such as a table or couch, in front of the stand base to hide its legs and give the illusion that the poster is hanging in midair.
