    How it Works

    • By giving the water a "bio-electric charge" and filling the foot bath with negative ions, the Aqua Chi is said to mimic the electric charge found in natural hot springs and waterfalls.

    The Process

    • After filling a deep plastic container (not included) with water, the Aqua Chi is submerged and both feet are placed into the water. At this point the timer is set for 25 to 40 minutes and the negative ions begin to enter the water. During the session, a tingling sensation may be felt and the water may change color, anywhere from a milky white to a dark brown. After a session, the manufacturers of Aqua Chi claim that you will feel relaxed and have a "heightened sense of mental clarity."

    Company Claims

    • The primary purpose of the Aqua Chi is for detoxification. The manufacturers of Aqua Chi say that it works by "balancing the energy pathways of the body." By stimulating immune responses, the Aqua Chi is said to amplify the body's ability to heal and increase energy levels.

    Models

    • The Aqua Chi is available in standard and professional models. Both come with a full-color manual, a five-year warranty and a GFI plug. The difference between the two models is found in the quantities of ionizing rings, foot bath modules and the type of cases they are stored in. The professional model comes with two ionizers and two connecting cables so that more than one person can use the Aqua Chi at the same time.

    Cost and Guarantee

    • The cost of the standard Aqua Chi model is $1,395 and the cost of the professional Aqua Chi model is $1,595, plus tax, shipping and handling. If you are not satisfied, the company says that the product can be returned within 30 days and a refund will be issued, minus a $75 restocking fee.
