Stop Looking and Start Investing in Real Estate
Why? The answer is fear.
Most of us have a fear, well several fears.
There is the fear of change, fear of rejection, fear of not knowing, and the fear of meeting someone that knows more.
The problem is if we can face these fears we could overcome them, and start taking action on what we truly want to accomplish in life.
If we could get over these fears, then we could start investing in real estate and start making the money we want to make, instead of working to earn a measly paycheck.
So instead of looking at these thins as fears, lets look at them as potential learning experiences.
The Fear of Change: if we made changes in our life, in the way we think about change, we have the potential to learn a lot.
By moving forward and changing our routines from wake up, go to work, come home, eat and go to bed, to keeping most of those things intake, however mixing in a little reading about real estate investing, and start looking at properties, you could learn a lot about the business.
The fear of rejection: We are afraid that the property owner may not accept our offer, so what, move on...
next.
We can not win every battle, nor can we hit a homerun every time.
But we can win the war, and we can hit a lot of doubles and singles.
By doing this we learn the ins and outs of presenting the offer and we can start seeing what the owner wants to hear from us.
Fear of not knowing: We are afraid of the things we do know or are unfamiliar with.
Well have you ever done something you were uncomfortable with? Sure you have, you started a new job at least once right? Well guess what, starting your own real estate investing business isn't much different.
You have to get out there and start looking at properties, secure some money from your bank, and make a few offers.
So what if they don't bite, they won't at first, but it is a learning curve, they we all have to go through.
Fear of meeting someone smarter: Yeah, guess what, you are not the smartest, and neither am I.
However, there are plenty of ways to get through whatever the situation, and move on to the next.
There will be questions you can't answer.
There will be people question your decisions, or your offers on their property.
You have to work your way through it.
The best way to do this is work through it before you get there.
Ask yourself, or have someone else ask you questions about the offer, or whatever you are going to face.
That way you have been to the meeting once, before you even get there.
Bottom line is, facing these fears, when investing in real estate will make you more comfortable and knowledgeable about investing.
Meaning you will be making more deals and making even more money.
