Building your own list is critical to your business success. This is one of the most vital components of building a successful business. Now, building your list doesn't happen overnight. It's a process that you need to learn and master if you want to stay in the network marketing game.

The top internet marketers have huge lists that number in the 10's of thousands and they are still growing their lists on a daily basis.

A fact is, those who put the time, effort (and money in some instances) into building their lists will thrive and grow their businesses.

So, how do you build a list? I'm glad you asked...:)

Let's take a look at the different effective techniques that you can implement right away to build your list:

1. Offer Free Ebook/Report

Offer your potential subscribers a free ebook/report if they subscribe. You don't need anything big and complicated. A simple ebook/report that people would be interested in, will work well. Your goal should be to offer real value.

2. Offer Free Solutions

Offer your potential subscribers some free information that will help them solve their problems, improve their lives and overcome their challenges.

3. Offer Free Coaching

Offer your potential subscribers for a limited period of time, a free consultation about a topic that they would be interested in.

4. Offer Free Private Access

Offer your potential subscribers a private access into your website when they subscribe. You could set up a password protected website for your subscribers only and update it regularly with free information.

5. Offer Free Lessons

Offer your potential subscribers a free course in something that they would be interested in. You can send them lessons through the auto responder series.

6. Use Subscriber-Only Community

Invite your potential subscribers to join your free subscriber-only community. It could be a forum, group etc. Your subscribers will feel special and privileged to have access to your community of like minded individuals so they can share topics of common interest.

7. Use Easy Form

Make it easy for people to subscribe. Let them know they only need to fill in their first name and email address to receive information from you or whatever you are offering.

8. Use "Unsubscribe" Reminder

Remind your potential subscribers that there is no risk as they can unsubscribe at any time - no questions asked.

9. Use Specific Date

Offer your potential subscribers some benefit or bonus for subscribing by a specific date and let them know that the offer will not be available after that date.

10. Tease Your Subscribers

If you are selling an ebook, offer your potential subscribers a free chapter if they subscribe. People like to get a sneak preview of products before they buy them. Even if they don't buy your ebook, you can offer them something else in the future, as long as they are still on your list.

So, there you have it, with one caution though: don't overwhelm your visitors or potential subscribers with all of these techniques.

The key is to choose the method that resonates with you and that is appropriate for your target market. Be sure to maintain your integrity and deliver exactly what you are offering to your subscribers.

The most important thing with which ever technique you choose to use, is to provide valuable content and solutions to people's problems if you want your subscribers to stay on your list:)
