1997 Bayliner Capri Boat Specs
- Bayliner Capri boats have been around for decades offering fun in the sun for those that choose to purchase one. They come in a variety of lengths depending on how big a boat you prefer from around 14 feet to upwards of 20 feet or more. The length of the boat can be determined by its model number such as 17 feet being represented as a Capri 1700. This is not always exact, but is generally close to the size of the vessel.
- Measurements of the 1997 Bayliner Capri boat include a varying length of between 15 and 21 feet. The beam is anywhere from 7 to 8 feet and the draft is about 3 feet. The weight of the Bayliner is almost a ton and a quarter at 2,460 lb. It has a deadrise of 20 degrees and either a modified or deep V hull made of fiberglass.
- The engine on the Bayliner Capri is a Single Mercruiser Sterndrive with 190 horsepower for the longer boats and a Mercury Force that tops out at 75 horsepower for the shorter. The 20-foot boats can get up to 50 mph and the gas tank holds 37 gallons of fuel, allowing you to go for quite a while on a single tank. Shorter boats can go almost as fast on less engine since they weigh less.
- The seats in the Bayliner are leather and the boat typically seats five with both bucket and bench options. The front buckets fold down to create lounge chairs. The boat comes with an AM/FM stereo system and CD player to provide entertainment.
