How to Epoxy Rebar

    • 1). Acquire the epoxy. Spray cans of epoxy paint can be obtained at any hardware store. It should be one-step coating, which does not require primer.

    • 2). Prepare the rebar. Wipe the bars with a damp cloth to make sure there is no clinging dirt, grease or salt deposits.

    • 3). Prepare to paint. Lay down a painters tarp or newspaper to protect the ground. Put on rubber gloves. Cover your mouth and nose with a painter's mask or a dust mask.

    • 4). Paint the rebar. Spray the epoxy paint evenly, one piece at a time. The entire surface should be covered. Let the rebar dry for thirty minutes.
