Know You - Love You!
As women we must come to terms with ourselves, learn our authentic selves, and embrace all that makes is wondrous! You have to know who you are to determine who you will be, what you will do, and where you will go.
It is important to know who the genuine you is and settle for nothing less! Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of somebody else.
~Judy Garland Focus on knowing yourself and being the person you want to be.
You are the only thing you really have control over.
Your thoughts, actions, and behaviors are ONLY up to you.
Practice the art of speaking positively to you, taking great care of you, and giving yourself generously! Start by speaking confidently to you about you! Don't allow yourself to talk or think negatively about yourself or your abilities.
Come up with YOUR positive mantra that you can repeat to yourself when not feeling up to the day! Remind yourself FREQUENTLY that you love YOU because not only are you good enough, you are that GOOD! Take time to do things daily to be kind to you.
Consider treating yourself to a new pair of shoes, enjoy your favorite wine, read a good book, take a bath and regroup after a long day, lather yourself with your favorite lotion, call a friend, read the comics, go for a run, sleep-in, take 5 minutes a day to "catch your breath!" Whatever actions you choose to love you make sure you practice little gestures to show yourself you are ALWAYS worth it! When you love you it emanates from you and you can more easily and openly love others.
Your heart will be lighter and more capable of sharing love generously.
You will conduct yourself with confidence and an assuredness that others will be drawn to and able to learn from.
Learning to LOVE the authentic you is one of life's journeys where we learn our value and ability to cherish ourselves for being the person we are.
It is critical that you are getting to know the "real you" and learning to love her.
Until you do, you don't really share her, and then we all miss the opportunity of knowing someone so beautiful! Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
