List Building - How to Integrate Articles into Your Primary List Building Effort

List building is of course an on-going concern, one which must be consistently worked on and improved.
Every time you send out a mailing, you tend to generate some unsubscribes, so it is critical that you continue to list build even if you have a huge list already.
One of the most powerful ways I have found to generate powerful leads and subscribers is that of writing a posting articles online.
Why is this method of lead generation so incredibly powerful?One of the things that happens when you write and post articles is that the readers begin to identify with you, or, in other words, bond with you.
You have developed a level of credibility before they even choose to opt in to your list.
So you are not having to build credibility in your email sequence; you already have it when they join your list.
In fact, you have often built enough credibility that new subscribers will buy your product the first time they are exposed to it, on your autoresponder confirmation page.
So how do you do it? 1)Write articles that particularly pertain to the needs of buyers of your products.
2)Include a link with a call to action in the bio area of your article.
3)Post your article to online article directories, particularly the larger directories that have RSS feeds.
4)Prepare your autoresponder script to accept your new leads, focusing specifically on providing the kind of content that complements the content in your articles.
