* Grow your herbs by their type and season.
* Mix herbs when planting, this way you can avoid pests. Some herbs complement each other by getting rid of unwanted pests.
* Fertilize herbs at planting time using organic fertilizer and water them.
* Walk through your garden and keep an eye out for insects that can harm your herbs.
* Put the herbs in a dry, well drained part of the garden. Too much water can harm the roots of the plant and dryness can also reduce flavor, it's best to always keep an eye on them.

Herb gardening is not complicated; you just need to be vigilant especially for insects as they are the number one harm to your plants. You also need to take care of your herbs; you need to ensure that they get enough nutrients that they need to be able to give you the goodness and flavor you want from them.

Most people are now very vigilant about what they eat, they are very particular about their health since today life is very tough and is full of uncertainties about health issues, it's not enough to eat naturally produced foods anymore, what is essential is to eat organically grown crops. Organic herbs are usually products of herb gardening from individuals within their own garden. Organically grown herbs are a product of private gardening which passes a high standard of production to ensure that no chemicals were added, even to the soil.

Growing medicinal herbs in your garden is basically organic if you do not use synthetic fertilizers. There are natural fertilizers which are really designed for organic farmers; some of them are dried products from plants and animals. Organically grown products are more expensive than those that are not because it's very hard to grow a plant when they do not have synthetic fertilizers and pesticides.

Pests tend to feed on them because they do not have protection. In spite of the cost, people still buy organic crops because it's not just beneficial to health, it is also tasty. They have a different flavor and aroma compared to those commercially grown. Large numbers of people are now interested in buying organic food.
