The Lovely Location of Dunoon

Located in Argyll and Bute you will find Dunoon.
Sitting beside the Holy Loch and in the Firth of Clyde it is a lovely area and one that makes a fabulous vacation spot for many people each year.
Dunoon pier is more than a hundred years old, and is still working.
Ferries come in each day and bring people to the location.
There is one sea paddle steamer that is working and it actually will come to this pier too.
It's quite a site and one that is part of history.
There is a statue of Bonny Mary O'Argyll that stands on Castle Hill.
Though little remains of the Dunoon Castle it is still a site that you should try and visit.
Just recently the seafront was fitted with a new breakwater.
It will help protect the old Victorian pier from damage.
A visit to this location means tons of different sites that you should visit.
Check out the Queen's Hall where many music groups come to play for huge crowds.
Past groups include Pink Floyd, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Benmore Botanic Garden is a lovely garden that has many great things to see.
One happens to be the largest Giant Redwoods in Britain.
The whole garden covers an area of 150 acres, so take your camera because you're going to want a lot of pictures.
Mention of this area you need to think of Holy Loch.
Once a very famous location during the Cold War years.
Now it's just a great site to behold.
There is a boat yard located here that has Alexander Robertson's the builders of America's cup challenger.
