    • 1). Gather the name of the banking institution that will be receiving the funds in Russia, the Russian bank's identifier code (BIC) and the address of the bank or bank branch receiving the transfer.

    • 2). Take the gathered information to the U.S. bank that will be conducting the transfer. All U.S. banks and credit unions offer this service to their members for a service fee.

    • 3). Talk to a bank teller or banker, and request that an international wire transfer be conducted using your member account. Give him the gathered information so he can complete the task.

    • 4). Request a confirmation number from your U.S. bank as well as necessary information to track the progress of the wire transfer. Ask the receiving Russian bank to send a confirmation fax or e-mail when it receives the funds as well.
