Candida Diet Without Carbs - Horrible Cramping and Diarrhea for Die Off Symptoms
A friend of mine has made it for 11 days so far without adding carbs in her candida diet.
Aside from being bored out of her mind and having a few cravings, her energy is quite good and symptoms are lessened.
She shared a few of her experiences to me, and I would like to write it here.
And this is it: given the huge amounts of veggies she is eating to help fill her up, the volume on the other end is quite scanty.
She added psyllium before breakfast 3 days ago which has helped maybe 5%.
She finally ate a small bowl of meuslix this morning in desperation, as this has always helped move things along for her.
She is also drinking lots of water.
As for me, I have taken psyllium and bentonite right from day 1 of my treatment.
I find it is important to balance them, since both of them absorb toxins.
The psyllium tends to loosen the stool while the bentonite tends to bind things up.
Also, the caprylic acid would merely go right to the liver and be metabolized if it was not in the psyllium gel carrier.
However, last weekend I got horrible cramping and diarrhea.
Since I cannot trace it to anything I ingested, I have concluded it is die-off symptoms.
Just for a little more info for your knowledge base.
I, too, am very low in carbs, as I think it is best when dealing with candida, especially if you have some weight to lose.
