About Olinda
Olinda is a city Metropolitan Region of Recife in Pernambuco state, in northeastern Brazil. And one of the best preserved and oldest cities between declared Historical and Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. Olinda was also the second Brazil history center to receive this title in 1982, second only to Ouro Preto. It was also elected the first Brazilian Capital of Culture, after competing with the cities of Salvador and John person.
