You must answer at least 70% of the questions correctly to pass the exam.
The other two tests are administered as part of your flight exam.

- 3 hours of cross-country to airports more than 50 miles away with an authorized instructor
- 3 hours of instruments with an authorized instructor
- 3 hours of night flying including at least
- 10 takeoffs and landings and a 100 nautical mile round trip with an authorized instructor
- 3 hours of flying within 60 days prior to the flight test with an authorized instructor
- 10 hours of solo flying with at least 3 take offs and landings at an airport with an operating control tower and 5 hours of cross-country flying
