Bunions can be a serious problem for many people.
They tend to hurt, throb, and be a pain for long periods of time especially after being on your feet much of the day.
There are things that you can be doing about your bunions to help them out quite a bit.
The first thing that you need to be doing is wearing shoes that feel good on your feet.
If you are having uncomfortable days in the shoes that you currently have, you need to get rid of those and get a pair of shoes that works better for you.
This will help you feel much better on your feet during the day.
Flat shoes typically are better for bunions than heels.
When you have flat shoes, there isn't as much pressure on your toes where your bunion issues are.
It's important to keep the pressure off these areas if you want to about the throbbing and the pain.
When at home, consider walking around the home barefoot or in something that is comfortable like house slippers.
This gives your feet time to relax and not be cramping in shoes that might not be fitting completely right.
When you do have days where there is extra pain, you are going to need to ice your feet.
This will help with the swelling so that the size of the bunions can go down and you can be more comfortable.
There are bunion pads that you can buy that can help take away some of the pain and pressure.
This is something to look into as they are cheap and can give you some relieve.
Go to your doctor and talk about your problem.
Sometimes you can get certain types of prescription painkiller or shots that will reduce the pain and help with the swelling issues that you are having.
