In Just a Few Months We Can Grill Outside Again, Especially For Tailgate Parties

Last week my mother tried to grill steaks outside.
It was 10 degrees with a 20 mile per hour wind.
In our desperation to rekindle the memories and good times of a summer cookout we jumped the gun a little and cooked too soon.
The coals got super hot and then died out too quickly.
The meat didn't cook evenly and it had to be finished inside.
It was the best cookout we'd ever had, but it gave us an excuse to gather and we still had good food.
One of my favorite times to grill out is for tailgate parties.
Whether large or small these are great times.
The food is rather traditional with hot dogs, hamburgers, sausages, potato salad, macaroni salad, ah, my mouth waters just thinking about it.
There's nothing quite like the taste of a great meat grilled outside.
When you're traveling to a tailgate party you often don't have room to pull your full size gas or charcoal grill behind your car.
How do you manage? I suggest getting a portable gas grill.
They're small, compact, easy to transport, need a small propane or other gas fuel source, and will cook up a great bunch of meat in no time.
Clean up is easy, and it's small enough to lock up in your trunk or truck bed while you go the game.
What could be easier? We found a pretty good selection at home improvement stores like Menards, I'm sure Home Depot and Lowes would have them too.
Large sporting goods stores would also have them if they venture into sporting accessories.
