He is in fact at Aberystwyth University as a mature student and lives in the Wrexham area.
The photos of him displayed are not photos that lends him to being a serving or former member of the Parachute Regiment and are in fact of Goodridge himself playing airsoft games with his friends.
Questions as to his alleged service have been extensively asked of a whole cross section of former 1 Para members and they state along with others that he is not known to them. The span of enquires which covers a period of approximately 20 years plus are shown to be negative as stated.
There is no record indicating his alleged service with the regiment on known Para databases. The current service period which he alludes to would have placed him with the Special Forces Support Group, again a fact that cannot be proved. He further states that he likes 1 Para.
There is also a distinct lack of photos of him in service and links to Para Reg friends on his FB profile, which again places him at odds with most people who have served.
Other information suggested is that he has this alleged connection to 1 Para is a means of impressing the ladies at Uni with his Para service.
A high percentage of the people on his friends list are females and Uni students and only one photo appears to be that of a genuine serviceman in Afghanistan and that photo is not of him, A breach of Op Sec possibly ?

Goodridge was first contacted a short while ago as the screen shots show however his response to this first contact provided a dismissive response stating that the service was before and was basically out of the way now and resorted to asking the question if I had served and if so did I know him through Para Reg. To align myself to him and his claims directly he was informed that I was 1 and 2 Para (I did not serve in 1 Para) since this last contact he has ignored all my questions and chat about service no, Coy served and service dates, however he still as of this afternoon has got his claims up there.
Nothing ties up at all and no confirmation of any sort has been received. Should it be Proved otherwise with evidence then I will stand by my word and apologise in public but to date it shows nothing but Robbie Goodridge is a walt showing a lot of disrespect and riding off the backs of the regiment for his own ends.
