The Tostobueno® tostonera is solid and well constructed.


It is made of 100% bamboo, which makes it environmentally friendly. Bamboo is the world's fastest growing plant and has a "tensile strength comparable to steel."

One side of the Tostobueno® tostonera has shallow, three inch guides cut out for tostone chips. A flat paddle helps flatten the chips, which turn out round and just the right thickness.

The other side of the Tostobueno® tostonera is desined with two inch diameter holes that are deep enough to make toston cups. A paddle with knobs helps shape the cups, which are just the right size for hors d'ouevres filled with savory fillings, such as Chef DonClark's Coconut Chicken Toston Cup Filling, or sweet filled desserts.

The Tostobueno® is available in three sizes with two, three or six holes to suite your needs.
