Blackheads result from a number of reasons, one of the most common being improper cleansing.
When oil and dead cells are not removed from the skin in an efficient manner, or when women fail to wipe off their makeup properly, the skin pores become clogged and blackheads start developing.
If blackheads are not removed then the body starts to react against this breakout by forming scars which can leave marks on a permanent basis.
To fight blackhead development there are a number of remedies.
One of the most effective ways is by mixing baking soda and water and using as a facial scrub.
One can also add some soaked cooking oats to the mixture as well.
The best part is this is an all natural scrub.
However, allow the oats to dry up before rinsing off the face to get the very best results.
Another method includes making a paste of Methi or Fenugreek leaves with the help of water and applying them to the blackhead affected area.
Let it sit for about fifteen minutes and wash it off with warm water.
In the same fashion mix some salt, lemon and honey together to make a paste that can be used as a scrub and a mask to fight acne and blackheads.
One can even add some yoghurt as a natural toner and moisturizer.
Another very simple technique involves applying warm honey to the affected areas for about fifteen minutes and then rinsing the face off with warm water.
Make a face wash by mixing lime juice with some milk.
Make sure that the milk is boiled, as it cools down add one teaspoon of lime juice to it and use this face wash regularly to gently scrape off the blackheads from your face.
Most of the home based remedies for the removal of blackheads involve the basic technique of loosening the content dwelling in the pores of the skin.
For the same reason almond powder can be mixed with some rose water and the blackheads can be treated with this paste until it dries.
Later on the face is rinsed with warm water.
Another effective mask that can be applied overnight can be made by mixing three tablespoons of honey with one teaspoon of cinnamon powder.
Apply this mask on the face before going to sleep and let it set overnight to be washed off with warm water in the morning.
The results will be a revamped and fresh skin, with visibly reduced blackheads.
Last but not the least, be very vigilant towards your personal hygiene and change the bed sheets and the pillow covers regularly.
Ensure that you get enough sleep for about eight hours and continue with your exercise routine on a regular basis.
This will help your immune system to get stronger to fight against diseases and infections.
