How to Raise Money by Selling Inexpensive Products
- 1). Open an account with eBay or a similar online auction site. These sites can be excellent places to sell inexpensive items, especially if those items are small and easy to ship. Inexpensive items that are bulky and difficult to ship may not raise as money, but small and inexpensive items can be quite lucrative.
- 2). Open a Paypal account. Having a Paypal account in place will make it easier for customers to pay you, while giving them the sense of security that comes with using Paypal.
- 3). Contact the shipping companies in your area about their rates. Be sure to compare the rates of private shippers and the post office. Set up an account with the carrier that has the lowest costs and use that carrier, primarily, to ship your products.
- 4). Sell at local flea markets, craft shows and other suitable venues for your products. Small and inexpensive products sell quite well at flea markets, so if you have one in your local area it is worth your money to rent a stand and try to raise money this way.
- 5). Present your products online and offline in an attractive way. Many sellers of inexpensive products do not take the time to display their items properly, and that can cost them sales. Taking the time to display your products with photographs and descriptions online, or with an attractive, orderly display at the flea market can help you to raise more money.
