This same game can be played but starting at 301 instead of 501.
Round The Clock is a popular darts game too.
With this game you have to hit the numbers in sequence, starting from 20 down to 1.
Dead simple but all the more enjoyable for it.
There is also a darts game known as Cricket.
The aim of Cricket is to be the first player to open or close all the Cricket numbers and have either a higher or even points total.
Cricket uses the numbers 15 to 20 (or sometimes 10 to 20) and the bull's-eye.
To open or close a number, it must have been scored 3 times in any fashion, on one or more turns.
Hitting the triple will close a number in one throw; a single and the double will open or close it in two throws or three singles will open or close it in three throws.
Then there is the darts game of Killer.
Each player throws a dart at the board with their non playing darts hand, and whichever number they hit is their number.
Each player then has to take it in turns with 3 darts to get their number 5 times in total.
Once they get to 5 they are then a Killer and can hit the other players number to deduct points from them.
Once a player reaches zero they are out, and the last player standing wins the game.
