How to Get a Fighter Job in "Tactics Advance II"
- 1). Load your game. If you don't have an existing game, create a new one.
- 2). Press "X" to bring up the main menu. Select "Unit Info."
- 3). Select the unit you want to become a fighter. It must be a Hume unit. Change this unit's job to "Soldier."
- 4). Equip weapons that have soldier abilities built in. The broadsword has "First Aid," which is the easiest soldier ability to learn.
- 5). Complete quests until you master the "First Aid" ability. You need a total of three "soldier" abilities mastered to become a "fighter." The Barong, Buster Sword, Ancient Sword, Silver Sword and Diamond Sword all contain soldier abilities that you can master to fulfill this requirement.
- 1). Play through the beginning sequences of the game if you haven't already. The first few hours of gameplay familiarize you with the story, characters, jobs and abilities.
- 2). Learn the three prerequisite skills in the soldier class. This can be any combination, it just needs to be three.
- 3). Check the board at the tavern for side quests. Select "To Be A Fighter." This is a rank 14 quest, so if your party isn't strong enough or you haven't progressed far enough in the story, it may not appear.
- 4). Complete the quest. You can now select "Fighter" as a job class for Humes who meet the requirements.
