    Uses

    • Peat moss produces a healthier root system in lawns. It also conditions the soil well so plants grow better and healthier. Peat moss makes an excellent source for making compost.

    Warning

    • Peat moss changes soil pH and can damage lawns or plants if too much is used. Growers recommend placing only 1 inch of peat moss when beginning to use it as a water retainer.
