Word of the Day Email Course Starts!
I want to let you know that I’ve started " Word of the Day" lessons by email. Each day you will receive a new word with a definition, pronunciation and example sentences. I hope they will help you to build vocabulary or refresh your knowledge. If you are interested, click here to subscribe. I’ve also started adding romaji translations for "Namiko’s Blog Lessons".
I would encourage you to learn as much Japanese writing as possible, but I thought Japanese translation (in kanji, hiragana and katakana) might be a little bit overwhelming for beginners. The important thing is to enjoy reading and learn something from them. I always appreciate your comments or input about my column.

"Kyou no kotoba" no ressun o meeru de hajimeta koto o oshirase shimasu. Mainichi, atarashii tango to sono imi, hatsuon, reibun o uketoru koto ga dekimasu. Kono ressun ga goi o fuyashitari, chishiki o fukameru tasuke ni naru to iina to omoimasu. Moshi kyoumi ga areba, koko o kurikku shite ressun o koudoku shite kudasai. Sono hokani, "Namiko no burogu ressun" ni romajiyaku mo tsukekuwae hajimemashita.
Dekirudake nihongo no moji o manabu koto o susumemasu ga, kanji, hiragana, katakana nomi no nihongoyaku dake dewa, shoshinsha niwa chotto attou sarete shimau kana to omotta no desu. Tanoshinde yonde, shoshite sukoshidemo sokokara nanika manabu koto ga, taisetsu desu kara. Watashi no koramu ni taisuru komento ya aidea wa itsudemo daikangei desu.
