Seeds are actually one of the most nutritious parts of the plants and can be found in grocery stores or farmers markets. Normally, these parts of the plants are used exclusively for reproduction, with plants dispersing seeds on an annual basis to begin the next generation. The majority of edible varieties are composed of cereals, but others include beans and nuts. - Rice is one of the most consumed grains on the planet.rice image by alri from Fotolia.com
Cereals are grain crops that are harvested because of their dry seeds and are often pounded into flower.
