How to Adjust a NordicTrack EXP 2000 Tread
- 1). Remove the key from the console, turn the "on/off switch" on the right side of the equipment to the "off" position and unplug the power cord.
- 2). Turn the rear roller adjustment bolts, located on the back of the walking platform, using an Allen wrench. Rotate both bolts counterclockwise a quarter of a turn to loosen the walking belt if it is too tight and difficult to move.
- 3). Rotate both rear roller adjustment bolts clockwise a quarter of a turn to tighten the walking belt if it slips off of the platform.
- 4). Plug the equipment back in, turn it on and insert the key into the slot in the console. Begin walking on the treadmill and take note if the walking belt is centered on the platform. Repeat step 2 if the walking belt shifts to the left or repeat step 3 if it shifts to the right.
- 5). Make sure the walking belt can be lifted 3 to 4 inches off the platform. The equipment can malfunction if walking belt is too tight or too loose.
