- Once you complete a stage, you can return to it later to try and finish it before a timer expires. If you're successful in beating the clock, you'll unlock some cheats. Finish all of the Peru time trials to show the enemy's health meters. You'll also get infinite ammunition for your .50 caliber pistol. Earn infinite shotgun ammunition and access to all weapons by completing the Greece time trials. Get both infinite health and infinite ammo for the Mini-SMG by finishing the time trials in Egypt. Complete the Lost Island time trials to get a golden shotgun and a silver Mini-SMG.
- Finish all the levels on any difficulty to unlock a few additional features. Lara will get infinite breath, allowing her to explore underwater areas indefinitely without drowning. You also get a pair of sunglasses for Lara. Competing the game also unlocks the "textureless mode," which allows you to view the levels in a new way.
- Complete the game's levels in order to get the music from those levels as bonus features. These can then be accessed from the main menu. Finish Croft Manor to get the Croft Manor music theme. Complete all the Peru levels to get Peru's music. Do the same in Greece, Egypt and Lost Island to acquire their music themes.
- View the biographies of various characters in the game by collecting the hidden artifacts scattered throughout the levels. Find five artifacts to get Lara Croft's bio. Gather nine for Larson's biography, and acquire 14 to see the bio of the "Kid." Find 18 artifacts for Kold's bio, 23 for Pierre's, 27 for Winston's, 32 for Richard Croft's, 36 for Doppleganger's and 41 for Natla's biography.
