How to Pay Bills with Western Union
Things You'll Need
Instructions
1Contact the company which you would like to pay via Western Union to ensure that they take payments in this form. Not all companies will accept, or are set up to take, payments made via Western Union. When contacting the creditor ask if they have a Western Union Quick Collect Account. You will need to get an account number as well as the city in order to complete the correct form.
2
Choose which way you would like to make your payment. Payments can be made using the company website, over the phone, or through a Western Union authorized agent. Most commonly payments are made at a location. Locations near you can be found by visiting the company website (see resources below).
3
Locate the nearest payment location and drive there. Payment locations are often located in grocery stores, super centers, and gas stations.
4
Complete the Western Union Quick Collect form. This form has a blue header. These forms are usually located on the counter near the area where payments are accepted. To complete the form you will need to have the account number for your creditor as well as their location.
5
Allow the clerk to process the payment using Quick Collect. The money is sent to the company immediately.
6
Retain a copy of the receipt for your records. In the event that there is an issue with the payment you will have proof that the payment was sent to the creditor.
7
Follow up with the creditor to insure that the payment was received via Western Union.
