Can Christians Divorce?

The rate of divorce is increasing around the world.
According to the Bible, divorce is a sin unless it is done because of marital unfaithfulness (Matthew 19:8 - 9).
When God created humankind, he created a male and female.
The first human beings that God created are Adam and Eve.
When God brought Eve to Adam for him to name, Adam called her woman, which means out of man (Genesis 2:20 - 25).
God created man and woman to be one.
It is God's will that the husband and wife remained together and not separate (Matthew 19:6).
In 1 Corinthians 7:10 - 11, Paul states that the wife should not be separated from her husband.
If the wife does separate from her husband, she should not get married again.
The husband should not file a divorce against his wife.
If you are a believer but your spouse is a non believer, you should not divorce your spouse.
However, if your spouse who is a non believer divorce you, let him do so because God wants us to live in peace.
Christian spouses can bring their non believers spouses to the Lord Jesus Christ by the testimonies of their lives.
You are a living testimony for your spouse.
If your spouse sees your life has transformed, he will come to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as well.
In 1 Corinthians 7:27 - 28, Paul states that it is better for a person not to get married.
A married person is concerned about the worldly affairs, how he or she can please his or her spouse.
An unmarried person is concerned about the God's affairs (1 Corinthians 7:32 - 35).
You are bound to your spouse for as long as he or she lives.
After your spouse died, you can remarry.
However, the person that you remarry must be a Christian (1 Corinthians 7:39).
Husbands and wives must love one another, just as Christ loves his bride, the church.
The husband is the head of the wife, so the wife must listen to him.
Husband must respect his wife and love her as he love himself.
(Ephesians 5:22 - 33).
If you divorce your spouse, you should confess your sins to God and ask him to forgive you.
If you need help in finding a suitable partner, you can discuss it with God and ask him to help you.
You should find a Christian partner.
Solomon has a lot of wives that worship foreign idols.
Consequently, he was influenced by his wife and worship foreign idols (1 Kings 11:4).
